look on the bright side, you could go to a university with a lot more "life" to it...in a nice big city..don't get ur hopes down. i was half hoping i'd get rejected but i didn't. now it's so much harder to make the decision...

Haha what ever happened to McMaster being the school who will take anyone that will walk faster? ArtSci and HealthSci are the biggest exceptions ever. Anyways, there is a pretty good chance I will not be accepting my offer, in which case I know that it will go to someone awesome. I'm going to try to make it down to May@Mac though, to see what I'm going to missing out on. Don't worry guys, I will reject as soon as I can if I decide not to go!

Hey guys! For those still waiting for an offer there's a really helpful post on macinsiders.com under 'offers of admissions' on the last page by lorend!

You mean page 14?

Also note his last statement:"there could be components based on a supplementary part of your application if there was one (I'm not in health sci, so I don't know), but I'm not sure on exactly how much their decision would be based on that either."

Nonetheless, thanks for the info.

This just keeps getting better......i got a letter guaranteeing a single room rez! Hmmm...but i dunno if i really want that, i might like having a roommate and its not really like im getting any discount for a single room. Anybody already in health sci living in rez have anything to say about single rooms (pros/cons)?

dude, there are people here who didn't get an offer yet for this program.
No need to boast here.
There are plenty of places (including different forum in this site) where you can get better info about mac rez.
You can brag about it somewhere else tool

ps I haven't applied to health sci

Hi, I just registered for this forum, but i've been reading this for long time. I'm still waiting for Health Science. My twin brother got in but i didn't. Is it true that they only accept max 1 student per school? Oh BTW i also got a offer guaranteeing a single room but that was for life science because i applied to both programs just in case. It said that if your avg is above 95, they offer you a guaranteeing single room. Anyway, i hope it wasn't a final offer. Did anyone get accepted after May 6?

I don't think that they limit the offers to one person per school. Based on the limited number of spots, it may seem that way- but that wouldn't make any sense to deny a well-qualified applicant just because someone else from their school got in. Can anyone else verify?

For those of you who have been accepted, did your offer show up yet on OUAC? I'm probably not going to Health Sci, and would therefore like to make sure someone else gets my space, but my offer isn't up yet! I got in yesterday, so I would have thought it would have showed up today.

you know what sucks.....Can't they just let you know that you have gotten rejected? so I move on and make my choice....they are going to hold us off till probably mid may.....and then reject us.....I don't find that fair....Not only they reject you, they also stress you out and give you LESS time to decide on an alternative....GUTLESS

That's quite the attitude. Be grateful that the program is gracious enough to allow people who didn't get in at first another chance if more spots open up.
