For Kinesiology I would say, U of C has an excellent program, as they even include co-ops and practicuums where you comeout of university with experience, not just a basis of theories like UWO.
But UWO is creating this huge Sports Facilities, so That will be exciting, unfortunately i only get on year out of it, before i graduate.

Western is all hype. And just so you know kids - you pay for hype!

However, the Sauder School of Business at UBC gives you bang for your buck. It is a school that a decade ago SUCKED (admitedly) but now it's on the up and it's going places. It is getting HUGE funding, has a world class staff and HELLO: it's at UBC, the best university in the country (take that Toronto).

It's a different way of life and a different business scene in Vancouver. It's less dog eat dog, more happy and lifestyle oriented. The classes are hard, but the people are phenomenal.

OH, and we pay about half as much as they do at Western.

Well from copious amounts of research during the past year this is the general impression i've gotten:

BEST BUSINESS SCHOOL - Richard Ivey at Western or Queen's Commerce
BEST HEALTH/ SCIENCE SCHOOL - Health Sciences at McMaster or McGill/UofT
BEST TECH INSTITUTE/ SCHOOL - Waterloo
BEST UNIVERISTY CAMPUS - McGill/Western/Queen's
BEST SPORTS FOCUSED SCHOOLS - Differs for each sport...Carleton/WLU/UofA
BEST RELIGEOUS CONSIDERATE SCHOOLS - UofT or maybe McGill (large international population + diversity of Montreal)

i think that's because there is really no school that stands out above all others at arts and humanities. you'd be able to find quite a few that have very strong programs, professors, and course selections. pretty much any of the major universities will have strong programs in these, and some of the smaller ones will as well. right now as it is i'd say western is quite good for the humanities/social sciences but there are many others that would be good as well
