I applied to life science at uoft st. george, and been hearing about how it's really competitive and it's the hardest to get good grades in etc. and then i hear about how life science at york is the easiest to get good grades in etc. i wana get into medschool and everything so... what is the difference between life science programs at queens, mcmaster, uoft st. george, uoft scarborugh and waterloo?.... is one university better to go to for medschool consideration/application etc.? and how hard or easy is it to transfer to different universities after a year or two of being in another university? Also, how is university life different at these different universities? and how are they different in teaching style or the life science (or related) programs? and do a lot of students do this? I wana be able to experience campus life for a year or two maybe and then switch universities to uoft, where i live within an hour of busing.

im not really sure about the med school question. but im planning on doing the same thing. but i suggest doing a honor spec, or a double major. and for transfering, just make sure the school ur a changing to, accepted teh credits from the previous school

I did a major in communications and a minor in anthropology at carleton. I found that programs differ widely with the unversity depending on what the department decides to focus on. If you want to become an archeaologist, dont go to a school that focuses on cultural anthropology, go to one that combines their classics and anthropology/earth science courses. Also, email the department contact. It really helps.
