I just heard about this webbsite today and I'm so glad that I did... there are SO many scholarships for people of different interests, religions, cultures, etc. studentawards.com is definately a helpful site and i hope i win a couple of scholarships.

I haven't applied to that many...
The reason is that after reading past recipients' essays and winning entries, as well as their community involvement, I look at myself and realize that I'd be wasting my time in applying because there is no way I could ever write that well (being a math person really doesn't help, lol), and all I have is about 50 community service hours and nothing major in terms of clubs.

Yay for being average and mediocre!

if you get into Schulich with what you have described, that should be proof that schulich doesnt care about extra curriculars or essays batman

Well closest i got to winning was when i was invited for the Loran regional interviews. And a friend of mine got her essay published from el publishers, no $ in either case though.
