I just heard about this webbsite today and I'm so glad that I did... there are SO many scholarships for people of different interests, religions, cultures, etc. studentawards.com is definately a helpful site and i hope i win a couple of scholarships.

I haven't applied to that many... The reason is that after reading past recipients' essays and winning entries, as well as their community involvement, I look at myself and realize that I'd be wasting my time in applying because there is no way I could ever write that well (being a math person really doesn't help, lol), and all I have is about 50 community service hours and nothing major in terms of clubs.
Yay for being average and mediocre!

Well closest i got to winning was when i was invited for the Loran regional interviews. And a friend of mine got her essay published from el publishers, no $ in either case though.
