It really all depends on how you want to live and how much money you're willing to spend.
If you're a really social person, go with traditional. Carleton's traditional rooms are really big and pretty nice. I mean you'll socialize a lot in the suite-style too but not as much.
I find that the suites there are really small... they kind of made me feel claustrophobic

. Also, you'll have the cost of groceries to deal with (unless you get a meal plan, but that's even more money).. If you're big on studying though, having your own room will make it a lot easier to avoid distractions.
