What's wrong with clubbing? You don't always have to dance, you can just chill and knock back a few (albeit overpriced) beers and just vibe.

How exactly does one 'vibe'?

You 'vibe' by just going to the club, soaking in the music, the sights, and drinking and having a good time with your buddies (don't go to the club alone, people tend to think your weird if you do that). If the bug bites you then you can hop on the dancefloor.

Oh man people, bigbadsheep has got the right idea!

LIVE LIFE. Balance it out.

You're gonna go absolutely insane if you never have a little fun on the side in combination with the hardcore studying. Just stop.

Or maybe some people (freaks) actually enjoy that? Definitely not for me though, I will totally be enjoying myself as much as possible in my first year and I will be 19 in January so I will actually be able to club during the latter half of my first year cheers

And no, obviously clubbing is not what normal people do ALL the time - it's just something that is fun, optional, available. There are so many new opportunities for adventure, excitement, and socialization during university that really, you don't need to spend your time cooped up under a brick wall of books. Let loose. You do realize that people can be partiers and also really good academic achievers right? I kind of have an on/off switch for that. It's cool.
