I'm currently in grade 12 and I hardly ever study. UNLESS I don't understand a concept the the teacher is presenting in that case I only work until I am certain I have grasped itsmile

Wow good question. Way too many hours for sure. It feels like I'm constantly trying to do my homework, but unfortunately I get distracted really easily and like to procrastinate. I try lots of things to rationalize it and do better, but really the only way is to just do it - and not the day before!! It's a little bit of a stress reliever too when you try to get things done the day before the deadline - unfortunately I'm not that good at that.

Actually doing homework though, in grade 12, i probably spend a good 3 hours a day doing homework, give or take.

I've been typically spending about an hour on my homework a night, that being averaged out. Some days I have hours and hours of work other days I may just not do anything.

I spend anywhere from literally 10 minutes to about 4 hours on homework. I am in university courses and I do not stop working until im done and satisfied.

Heh, I spend as little time as possible on homework. I feel like high school is such a drag now that university is so close and I could have graduated early. *Sigh.* I do maybe an hour on average and still maintain healthy A's.

I would spend one hour EVERY DAY working on my homework. This is just for the daily homework that was required. I then would have to prepare extra time to study for tests and quizzes. Additional time would be for projects, presentations, and assignments. This of course would increase my total time working on school work to a very high level. It depends on the week, whats assigned, etc.

I usually spend about three to five hours each weekday and usually spend my entire weekend studying and keeping up. High school is tough, but I think (or at least I hope) that this is definitely preparing me for the amount of work I'll have to do in university. Right now, I am taking Physics 11, Physics 12, Biology 12 and Francais Langue seconde 12, and each class usually provides me with about an 1.5 to 2.5 hours of homework each night.

I know I spend way too much time on homework, but I sort of asked for it. This year i am taking 3 AP classes to help prepare me for University. Just today I spent a good 4 hours on homework... and it was a Saturday. The rest of my time today was spent on volunteering at the National High School Debate Championships at my school. Don't worry I did go see a movie, "Smart People", but it was kind of slow and boring... there were a few funny parts.

I agree with funzone36 ...but it depends on your course load. if you have difficult courses you should be reviewing your notes (although you probably won't). I'd say about 2 hours a day.

I practically never do homework, and it's killing me. I'm talking 0 minutes a day, I don't even take the liberty to look at my notes over and it piles up and I get stuck in a deeper and deeper hole. Specifically, not doing physics homework this year is hurting me really bad....

I work on homework anywhere from 30 mins - 3 hours a day during the week.
On the weekend it usually ends up being a lot more because I have more free time and I can stay up later to work on it. Gotta love the Sunday night rush... all the last minute homework/projects... oh well, it has been working for me for the past 3 years.smile

I have an ADD style of work, but I still probably come out with average productivity.

Being in one of the harder programs in Canada, it means I have anywher from 3-5 hours a day
