I could not agree more; people are soooo lazy to fill out scholarships. The poor souls would have to sit, search, think and type-the horror!
i've filled out a couple, but i doubt i'll get any, i hope you guys will get some (please not the ones i applied for)

Doing the larger scholarships takes a huge amount of time and effort. Imagine, they require you to fill out the application form, write essays, include reference letters, and maybe a whole bunch of other things as well. It is pretty much homework, in a sense, on top of all our other school work.

I just hope that everything will be worth it. Even one scholarship would be absolutely wonderful for me! cheers Thank goodness for having this contest!

Waiting on the world to change. ♥

I get so discouraged when i put like 5 or 6 hours of work into a scholarship and get nothing, npot even a mention of "we appreciate you trying anyway" I spent so long on an aids awareness story, it's discouraging to think you have no hope no matter what you apply for.

All you have to do is write 5 posts and get a chance to win some money... this is easy compared to the other scholarships i applied for!

It can be hard to fill out certain bursaries when you have projects and other school things to do. I think thats why people get overwhealmed! I hope that I get some bursaries... I could use the assistance! cat

Whoever came up with the topic of this forum "99% luck and 1% work" is very clever. I think this is so true and a very easy way to apply for a scholarship as compared to the others that require you to spend sooo much time on them. This is a great idea and everyone, keep your hopes up.
You never know when good luck will hit you in the face! colors bounce angel

I was told that there's 100's of 1000's of unclaimed scholarship money in Canada every year because people don't bother entering them. Plus my brother, who isn't the best writer, managed to win one. So people should still try entering harder contests!

I heard that too but where do you find all the "free" money? It's kind of hard to find scholarships that no one knows about. =P
And if they are easy to get (ex. the fourm five) then a lot of people will enter it.
and I agree. people are just lazy to write essays and thinks that everyone will enter the contests and scholarships.

The scholarships worth applying for take so much work and i really don't know about any of u but i have no time...so its either: stop what your doing to get a scholarship or, work your but off to get a entrance scholarship and then be indebted for the rest your life.
