Yeah it is super diffucult to win a scholarship since thousands of kids apply for them and there are only a few offered. It would deffinatly be great to win a scholarship! Every bit of money helps!

It should be 100 posts not 5. What can you contribute to the forum in 5 posts?

Not much...

Yeah, there's barely any chance I'm going to get this scholarship. But sure, why wouldn't I try to save $100 dollars. I think it's a good idea to get as much money like this as we can, no tax, no effort (almost). I want to save up as much as I can in high school.

problem is then we'd get a whole bunch of spammed posts and people not really contributing much but simply trying to get to the 100 mark. I liked the quality of the old forums, when the people that were there were there to discuss and give advice. there are still tons of people here now (and i like the format better) but the quality of the posting already sorta diminishes when you've got about 400 people who probably won't be frequenting these other than to just post their 5. Make it 100 and the boards really wouldn't be worthwhile i'd say

the more scholarships you apply to, the more $$$ you get, so you might as well try everyone of them, eh?

i agree that raising the number of posts would increase the number of junk on here--->but 100bucks is only a fraction of what tuition costs, and they're only 5 winners, so i think 100posts is probably a bit much.

This also counts for all schoolarships in general, it's funny how a lot of people won't even bother cause it means they may actually have to DO something. God forbid...

Dunja, you're funny.
I could not agree more; people are soooo lazy to fill out scholarships. The poor souls would have to sit, search, think and type-the horror!
i've filled out a couple, but i doubt i'll get any, i hope you guys will get some (please not the ones i applied for)

100 bucks would be nice for nothing.
