Some people worship their families and would do anything for them while others must fight to stay away from the arguments their families constantly have. The situation with families alters from one to another. Distance, age and past differences can all impact a family and the way they will feel about eachother.

I agree with the above posts. I think that all families interact differently. Some look forward to spending time together while others can drift apart.

I like my family we would stand up for each other and all that. Unless there are a few people in our family that we would like to bash in their heads. Just so tired of my family right now. Its getting so repetitive and starting to find things annoying about my immediate family. I guess 17 years is just too much to live with them ><

Even though I may be upset with any of my relatives for a while, I still care for them and will stand up for them no matter what. After all the reason I exist is because of my family and thus I always want to see them happy.
However there are many families that struggle to stay together. I believe it is mainly because of the misunderstanding and poor communication between them.

I can tell you right now that my family is not perfect , we do arugue a lot and would rather not see each other, but we do love each other. it's kind of a love hate relationship. i just cannot wait to move out on my own.

I absolutely love my family. That's probably why I'm going local. Not that we don't have issues. One of my little sisters is anorexic, the other is never home, and my little brother has the amazing ability to talk without stopping for hours on end about topics you could not care less about. But everyone in my family has a good sense of humour, and I think that it keeps us close. I can't imagine trying to have an entire meal while staying serious - someone's got to end up with ice cream on their nose.

Family is the only thing you have in the world besides your word. My family and I don't get along well, I've walked out numerous times, but in the end I always come back, and they always accept me back. It's okay to have a love/hate relationship with your family, if at the end of the day you know you love them more than you hate them. My little sisters annoy the crap out of me, and we're usually always arguing, but if anyone outside ever tried to harm them, I would give my life defending them.

I feel the same way. My family and i have had some very rough times together. They grew up in a different culture and different lifestyle than the North American ways, but i have been more exposed to the North American lifestyle, and well, there has been quite a large clash. We don't agree on many things, but i still love my family.
