First, I don't know how that !@#$% got into uPenn. Students should make counterfeit Adderall so that those without a proper prescription would get the "fake" copy and decrease their academic performance. Hence, increasing their peers' academic ranking. I think that's a great solution to prevent people from using this once they find out they're actually getting laxatives, e, caffeine pills, and other crap.

You think tricking people into taking laxatives, ecstacy, and caffeine is a good idea? Are you out of your mind? You realize people could easily die from something like that.

Same kind of retarded 'competitive' behaviour that causes the asians at UTSG to give you wrong answers, lie about upcoming test material and pretend they suddenly 'forgot' where they got the previous 10 term tests with solutions. (don't even try asking them to photocopy) Really ticks me off at the lengths people are willing to go to hinder their peers academic abilities. UTSG Honours B.Sc. Specialist in Biology, Major in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology '12

It's the best policy to restrict people from taking drugs which will be harmful to them in the future. If people know that it's dangerous to take the drugs then they will stop. If there's no (immediate) risk to taking those drugs then why wouldn't people take them? Except the problem is that those people now have an unfair advantage. At the very least, they are consuming prescriptions drugs without having such prescriptions. I don't think that's safe and right. Plus, it wrecks the entire academic system. The girl got into uPenn probably had good grades. They were suppose to be an indicator of her ability, not whether or not she took drugs. Now everyone has to take them just to stay competitive.

I hardly think you need to be taking drugs to stay competitive. More like you need to manage your time better.

I took ritalin one time last year and it made me really hyper, it gave me and incredible amount of energy and I felt like I had to run! but for some reason I was so hyper that I couldnt focus on work, it just made me wanna go fool around. it was weird. I've never tried speed but Ive heard it helps a lot of my friends focus, but to me that sounds stupid.
