I think these ranking systems are a joke, universities especially in canada cant be judged as a whole to show what they really are. In canada schools are individual for programs. I would much rather go to ivey for business then degroote but rather go to mac health sci then go to western, the rankings can say what they want but i cant see a way to justify the better one. Second is there are very few fully well rounded schools out there globally, Harvard is one of them cause it has a good business and law school and im sure some others. so i have no problem with it being up top. But Waterloo was ranked way down there and i cant see why, yeas as a whole waterloo may not be a perfect school but if your looking for math or engineering i think its right up there with the best of them.

Will be applying to: Ivey,QC,Schulich,Laurier,Rotman,Mcgill(desautles)

You answered your own question ----> "yeas as a whole waterloo may not be a perfect school but if your looking for math or engineering i think its right up there with the best of them.

Its a OVERALL univeristy ranking. Yea, it cant be fair when u are looking at individual programs - which is why program related ranking exists.
