So I am enrolled in my second year at Ryerson University. For my first year, I received financial assistance from both OSAP ($3000) and my parents ($1200) The rest i paid off myself.

This year, due to my parent's increase in income, I am not eligible for OSAP funding, and my despite their increase in income, my parents tell me they CANNOT under any circumstances assist me with my schooling. I was also turned down for my school's Student Access Guarantee.

I don't have anywhere close to enough money to pay for my school, My dealine is closing in, and I am unsure of where to go next....am I screwed? Or is there another way I can get funds. Please help! I'm afraid my future is in jeopardy.....worry

That seems awfully selfish of your parents to not be able to offer you any form of help for university. But hey, once you're done you can say you did it on your own smile

If OSAP and your parents have turned you down, you can look to other government bursaries and grants, as well as loans from banks. Some, like ScotiaBank, have excellent rates for students taking out loans and usually maintain low payments for while you're in class. There are also several scholarships with universities, organizations, companies, foundations, and more, so you can always find them and apply to them.

Of course, there's the unfortunate obvious question too: why didn't you save money?

Get a bank loan.

You may need a cosigner though... depending on how old you are.

If your parents won't pay, then maybe you have to wait to go to school.

I had to way the 4 years out of school to be considered independant in order get my OSAP.

I was fortunate enough to pay for my own first year, but that's all I've been able to do.

Sometimes you just have to do, what you have to do,
