If I drop from a 100% course load to 90% course load will my OSAP loan be greatly affected? I am going to yorku, it says that any change can greatly affect a loan but in college I did this once and nothing happened.

OSAP really only cares if you have a 60% or greater course load.

For the record I assume you mean that you'll have an 80% course load in one semester and a 100% in the other, unless you've got some unusually weighted course. They care about what you're taking at any given time not averaged over the whole year.

Remember that it often takes just as long to do a search or two on Google to try and find the answer to your question as it takes to type it in a post here, let alone the time waiting for a reply.
If your question is "What mark does it take to get into University X", or "What are the requirements to get into University X", it's on their website and/or electronicinfo.ca (for Ontario schools). Particularly for Ontario schools, those ranges are a pretty good picture of what kind of mark will get you into the program, and if you're more than a couple percent higher it's practically guaranteed unless it requires a supplementary form.

At yorku they have full year and half year courses. I want to drop a 6 credit full year course which is 3 credits each semester (fall/winter). If I drop this course I will be going to 90% course load for the fall and 77% course load for the winter. The 77% in the winter is because 1 of my 5 courses is only one semester.

The course I am dropping is one I no longer need because of college credits transferred, but it's too late to join another class because they are 3 weeks in. I'd rather just have this extra time off to possibly find a job or use it to do more homework

It may reduce your funding slightly, but it probably won't affect most of it-it's hard to say, as each person's circumstances are different.

I go to York and Osap took 4000 from me for dropping my course load thanks to a mix up in the admin department. I only dropped one class.

Just be careful and know that if you're not a FULL 100% course load, they will give you less money.

As much as I hate it, so they should! You drop classes, and you don't need as much as money.

I'm just pissed they took me 3000 bursary.
