Have been told there is a maximum of $210 per week (as opposed to the normal $350 per week) if taking a hairstyling course.
Anyone hear of such a thing. Its not a hairstyling school but a recognized college.

Here's a link from OSAP that does say that, but it doesn't define what they mean by a hairstyling school.

However, to get an estimate of what you might get, try this link; alternatively you could try contacting the college where it will be offered and asking if that applies.

Remember that it often takes just as long to do a search or two on Google to try and find the answer to your question as it takes to type it in a post here, let alone the time waiting for a reply.
If your question is "What mark does it take to get into University X", or "What are the requirements to get into University X", it's on their website and/or electronicinfo.ca (for Ontario schools). Particularly for Ontario schools, those ranges are a pretty good picture of what kind of mark will get you into the program, and if you're more than a couple percent higher it's practically guaranteed unless it requires a supplementary form.

The college says that that reference means 'any hairstyling course at any college or university but a want to challenge it. I think they have the interpretation wrong. Having trouble trying to get to any one at the osap office itself to talk to. Refuse to beieve at this point that a 'hairstyling course' and only that course is linked with the financial caps of out of province students and out of country students
