Okay, so here's teh deal... This summer I had a really good paying job (12.50/hr) and i was looking around for another job that pays that well. I have applied to about... maybe 30 jobs, attempting to get a well paying job, but at the same time I wanted a job that wasn't stressful and worked with my schedule.
Last night I got a call from a rogers video, and they wanted to hire me right away. I like them at the interview, but i'm pretty sure that they pay only minimum wage. I took the job, and was really excited about it at first; but now i'm thinking too much about it I'm wondering if I should have not taken it? It works with my schedule, and it's in a good location, and it's not very stressful... Opinions?

Minimum wage and customer service jobs seem to be the best for students and working with their schedules. They're also usually able to offer advancement opportunities, so if you do find that you have more time after school you can take on a new position for a raise.

If it works with your schedule and isn't conflicting with your education than yes it's good you took the job. If it starts to interfere with your studies or becomes too stressful than maybe reconsider.

Unfortunately you'll have a hard time finding something that pays MORE than minimum range (or in that area), that will let you work part time AND accommodate your school schedule...that's just the way it works. It's not impossible...try applying to some places for admin work. I work as an admin asisstant, I make great money, make my own schedule, and get homework done at work. Some inbound call centres pay really well too, but there's limited part time work in that area.

KEEP THE JOB.
Student hours and availability are very limited. You're not going to find much else unless you work in a call center.
I got lucky working in an office for $14/hour but I also don't have a lot of class and I can fit in business hours for half of the day. I was originally hired as a Typist (came in when I had free time during school) and moved into learning their salary paid role. Now that school is back in I've been given my own little promotion. It helps the office out and it works with my hours. Some people aren't so lucky.
Macgirl seems to have gotten lucky as well.
You really should keep what you have.
