I'm sure this has been answered before and that this is a stupid question, but i'm new and just getting to know the site around so please don't mind me asking:

Could you specify what the catergories for "place" means?
There is the Canadian flag, "Award available to Canadian or foreign students studying in Canada"
then the star, "Award available to Canadians studying in the United States"
and the globe, "Award available to Canadians studying internationally".

Does that apply to current students styding in Canada/US/international, as in HS? Or is it like, going to a Canadian/US/international school (univ/college)?

I'm planning to go to the States for my undergrad and am hoping that those canadian flags are for canadians to be able to take to US schools... so I just wanted to clarify it.

Again, sorry if this topic has been present before, but thx in advance.

What matters (for those categories) is your nationality and where you will be attending university, not where you happen to be attending high school (A few of the awards for Canadians might also require you to be attending a Canadian high school).

So if you are Canadian and plan on going to a US school, the first category does not apply.

Remember that it often takes just as long to do a search or two on Google to try and find the answer to your question as it takes to type it in a post here, let alone the time waiting for a reply.
If your question is "What mark does it take to get into University X", or "What are the requirements to get into University X", it's on their website and/or electronicinfo.ca (for Ontario schools). Particularly for Ontario schools, those ranges are a pretty good picture of what kind of mark will get you into the program, and if you're more than a couple percent higher it's practically guaranteed unless it requires a supplementary form.
