Historically, UofT industrial engineering accepts about 60-70 students a year. However, the 1st year class now entering 2nd year went from 70 to just under 100 students! Cause of track1's, eng sci quitters, and some other transfer-ers.

I get the impression that Industrial Engineering is mostly people who didn't get into the other engineering fields.

LOL, not really.

It's a non-traditional type of program, e.g Systems, Management, etc.
