So, my MIE100 credit is still outstanding. Well, the office said I won't be able to drop my MIE2xx to take MIE100.
She said my only options:

a) Summer school at the end of this year
b) Take it 3rd year, but I'll essentially being doing reduced course-load/part-time scenario. So complete 3rd year in two years, adding a 5th year to 4-year degree.

a) is the most convenient, but the course goes by extremely fast -- I can only fail a course twice, if I fail again...I MUST PASS ON MY LAST TRY OTHERWISE THEY WILL KICK ME OUT, AND MY TWO YEARS SPENT THERE ARE GONE TO WASTE. b) does seem a little shocking, in the sense I'm going to be gone for some time...but I just can't take the risk. I want to take Dynamics at a normal pace, heck I'll spend the entire winter semester just taking that one course if need be.

I am totally head over heels, I know I shouldn't be worrying about this cause technically I have 9 years to complete the degree (just get that 0.5 credit) but my outlook suddenly changed...again.

If you think it will be better to take it in 3rd year, just do it. A lot of people take 5 years to do a degree

Cant you take Dynamics (mie100) during a regular Winter session, and do some other course (easier course) during summer?
