I just got the general entrance scholarships at my school, for leadership, academic excellence, and scholastic distinction. The engineering faculty gives out the most money in entrance scholarships at my school. I'm from Alberta so I could have applied for an APEGGA scholarship but I didn't. I also got another scholarship through my dad's company.

Seems to be a lot of U of T? Do they have a really good program? I was looking at Western/Guelph, possibly Dalhousie out East? And what is the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship for? Also no one did the Science Fair in senior year of High School? Ive never done it before but my Physics teacher said you can get a lot of scholarships through it? Thanks everyone for the replies.

U of T has a great program, but so does almost every other major university in Canada. For an engineering degree it doesn't really matter, it's all about where you want to go.

I would imagine Science Fair could help in getting scholarships, I really know nothing about it.

Who knows? Maybe we'll be in the same tutorial or something.

Entrance scholarship (2000), and engineering scholarship (2500), plus dad's company scholarship (1000).

This is what I basically did:
About 100+ volunteer hours at engineering camp and with a Conservation Group, placed 6th in a provincial engineering contest, did pretty well on academic contests, I was in band, I have Grade Nine Piano, I won art design for Yearbook cover, I did cross country and track and field, I helped organized this open house for parents at our school, in middle school, won instrumental music subject award, highest GAUSS in my grade, wrote a short story that was selected to be on a website for young teen writers.

Oh yea, I did Science Fair in Grade 8, but I messed up so I didn't mention it on my applications. We had a physics fair in Grade 11 and 12, but that we had to do it as a part of our curriculum.
