Hey Everyone... On the first day, the second class i have is a tutorial for a class i have the next day. I understand that the purpose of tutorials are to reiterate the previous week of lectures. So do i still go to this tutorial... when there will be nothing to discuss it seems pointless to attend? As far as I know... YOU SHOULD GO. Tutorials are (I think) where you actually get to discuss the class - as such, your first tutorial should be the 'orientation' of the class. I think :S

You don't go to tutorials the first week. Go to only the lectures during O-week, and then your profs will tell you when tutorials begin...btw, the answers to 99% of the questions you've asked today are in the UWO 2012 Facebook Group!

Tutorials and labs, etc. most often don't run during the first week of classes.
Remember that it often takes just as long to do a search or two on Google to try and find the answer to your question as it takes to type it in a post here, let alone the time waiting for a reply. If your question is "What mark does it take to get into University X", or "What are the requirements to get into University X", it's on their website and/or electronicinfo.ca (for Ontario schools). Particularly for Ontario schools, those ranges are a pretty good picture of what kind of mark will get you into the program, and if you're more than a couple percent higher it's practically guaranteed unless it requires a supplementary form.
