There is Glen Eden which is in Milton - just North of Burlington. From Mac it would likely take you 30-35 minutes to get there. For being in Southern Ontario it is not bad at all. They have a few quad chair lifts and a terrain park. They have a pass you can buy for $120.00 which allows you to ski every Saturday and Sunday night from 5-9:30pm from December to March (or whenever they decide to close). They also have a tubing area which is quite cool too.
Life isn't about fitting in - it's about standing out !!!

glen eden is pure poop, if you are a beginner than it is great but if not don't waste your time. You are not going to find anything great though that is under an hour away from mac.

lol honestly man, if you have any experience skiing these hills will be a complete joke to you. On weekends you could go to Blue Mountain, its about 1 hr 45/ 2 hr from Hamilton and their are some awesome runs.

If you're more advanced than a beginner, it would probably be worth your time to drive up to Blue Mountain, or even into New York (there are some decent courses that way too). I personally don't know of any ski/snowboard clubs, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I know there's an outdoor adventure group that does some skiing in the winter, but they do a lot of different events as well. You could check the athletics website though, or the MSU Club listings page.
