Just wondering.. I got accepted into UTM Commerce with top 6 avg 88.3% during midterms.
However, my final avg is gonna be 86.5% and one of my prereq's (adv. functions) dropped 9%
How good are my chances of retaining my acceptance?
Thanks ~

is there a stated min mark required in any subject? did you get below the required mark in the subject?

The less than 2% overall average drop is not a cause for concern. The 9% drop in one prerequisite class could be, but I think you are still probably ok unless you went below a minimum required in that course (for example, if you went from 83% to 74% and they want at least a 75%).

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention that.
It stated to "maintain consistent academic performance during the balance of the program."
It didn't specify any mark or average I should maintain.

I am also going to UTM for commerce and like you i am in kind of the same situation. I had a 93.5% average at midterm, my final comes to 91.17%. Seeing as the admission average was only 85%, I think it should be fine as long as we stay above that margin.

on a side note, centrino, did you take data management? because i am registered in MAT133Y5 in UTM commerce and it says one of the pre-reqs is data management, but i never took it. only the two required math courses.
