Hi, I am a grade 12 Ontario student who was accepted to Bachelour of Health sciences. I am currently in IB and due to restrictions we could not take Physics as we can only take Chemistry and Biology. But during summer school I have taken Grade 11 Physics but I may not be in the country this summer and thus cannot get my grade 12 credit for physics, I am wondering if my inability to get my Gr12. Physics credit will prevent me from taking physics at Year 1 health sciences. Thank you.

i'm not certain on this so don't quote me but it's my understanding that most universities offer an introductory physics course that is designed for people who didn't take 12 physics

I have just made a decision between the two schools and am also interested in medicine after completing my undergraduate. I have done a lot of research on both schools and decided to go with health science at Western but made the last sencond decision to switch to mcmaster nursing. I decided on McMaster because it is more of a health science school. I decided that if i were to go into medicine i would have the school's name behind me. I recommend McMaster because it seems to be the most fitting based on the career you are heading towards. Good luck with your decision you can't go wrong between the two.

dr34mXXX,

I go to McMaster and yup, there's an intro physics course you can do if you haven't taken the Grade 12 physics course. It's just a semester as well, so if need be you can take the actual first year physics course second semester.

Good luck =)
