Is 1st semester transfer possible. Like after December finals? I would only transfer if I got full credit at recieving institution. Im planning on going to UofA, but thinking now it might have been a huge mistake to leave my home where I moved five years ago and finally settled down some after living across Canada the rest of my life. How easy is it. I'll be taking the basic prerequisites in my Economics, that Id need to get 3rd year entry to Bachelor of Commerce at the UofC, or I might do a Poli Sci if I cant manage the calculus courses.

If you go into UA with that attitude you'll probably hate it. I suggest opening your mind and trying to be excited for a new experience? Your family, friends and girl will still be there when you go home to visit.. maybe not your girlfriend.. but if thats the case you shouldn't be with her anyways.

It should be fairly easy to transfer, I think most first year courses are fairly general and similar across universities

I heard Haskayne was kinda difficult to transfer into for third year because they already have a whole bunch of students and don't want to accept that many more.
