there are two specialists i REALLY want to do, does U of T generally allow such a thing? I want to do them simultaneously so I don't have to stay more than 4 years in university. I wan to do the cell/molecular biology specialist and the bioinformatics specialist.

I believe you can do two at the same time, seeing as from what I know , there is no limit to the amount of courses that one is able to take. So you'll end up graduating in 4 years with more than 20 credits. Since your two specialist programs are quite related, I think you may be able to get both of them with as little as 20-24 credits.

i think it is possible if you have transfer credits.
I'll be starting my 1st yr at UTSG, Trinity College in 2008. I intend to do Global Health (Spec) and Financial Economics (Spec). I have 3.5 credits, which allows me to take 2nd yr bio, econs, chem and statistics in my 1st yr. I think it's possible if you do summer school too. =]
