cole. wrote:I think it's a pretty smart idea that Queens puts in your seperatly sealed entrance scholarship in with the acceptance package. Though I'm sure it's not the only university to do this. The package certaintly became more attractive with a letter inside that said it was giving me 2 grand haha. And possibly more later. All riding on my english mark though. Not a good thing... haha yeah when I got my acceptance to Queen's, my scholarship letter was stuck inside the res brochure.. I only found it like 20 min after. total amazement Queen's Commerce '12

Wow, is UW Nano is highly competitive or something? Do they have an enrollment limit?
The acceptance package for Simon Fraser University is pretty small. Just a colourful portfolio and some sheets of informational paper, and inside is a typed letter addressing the student to confirm the university

Actually, my friend got that package and thought it was one of those lottery scams that mail you to tell you that you've won loads of money, so she almost threw it away until her dad started freaking out about it. And Spherical, I thought SFU's acceptance was annoying simple. It LOOKS nice but it has no information whatsoever. UWO 2012

U of T Scarborough's was the worst. I graduated last year and stayed back a year (so all my marks were final as of the time of acceptance) and yet it still gave me a sheet saying it was an conditional offer and that I had to not let my marks drop...

Actually, it's sad how their acceptance package has less information then their open house or orientation night packages. I kept getting bombarded with invitations to those but just about no promotion about what to do after being admitted. UWO 2012

I found it sort of funny that U of O would send me all that stuff. They also called through out the whole of last semester asking if I had questions about the school, applying, their programs, etc. :S I felt it was a little redundant .. I mean they're a good school. Did they really have to send me a christmas/hannukah/holiday card?
Redrose: that's smart.. I could always use university propaganda to organize my calculus notes... bwahaha. Same! Ryerson's was the least impressive, but that's where I'm going. I liked Laurier's the best. It even had a pretty picture on their heavy-duty envelope. Mind you, the big "Your Offer of Admission" also stamped on it kinda spoiled the anticipation.
