programs at Guelph are great, many of my teachers went to Guelph and they LOVED it. Its also has a vet school. Just seems like it has a nice atmosphere.

in guelphs undergrad book they state on like the 2nd page that they are canadas top comprehensive university, and i dont see why a university would say otherwise unless they were recognized. so if u have other proof to show me, in which i will gladly accept and stand corrected, u should probably stop being imiture and picking pointless forum beefs. or even a better idea just stop talking to me smile thanks

I believe it fluctuates between Guelph, Waterloo and Simon Fraser as the top comprehensive. They are all excellent.

I've always heard good things about Guelph... mostly about their environmental and biological studies. I've also heard that Guelph's student body is VERY liberal, like "drum-circle", "borderline hippie" liberal. Not that it's a bad thing, but just something to think about if you are strictly right wing.

i think guelph has completely been under the radar for university for years and now that its beginning to gain a more widely known reputation ppl are thinking what the hell lol. i myself had never even heard of guelph until this year, and when i went there on a school university trip (we were goin to waterlo then guelph) i was pleasently surprised. i had planned on going to Queens or Waterloo for science but when i saw geulphs new science building i fell in love lol. guelph has been rated canadas top comprehensive university for something rediculous like four years now, and it has a wide varitety of programs for undergrads. i myself would never go there for grad school tho, im probably goin to u of t or western for medicine. as far as ppl going this year i heard in a newletter that there was a huge fluctuation in the amount of ppl that applied this year. in general guelph has always been a good school to my knowledge, but it just hasnt fully built a repuatation like that of waterloo or u of t.

adozenfuries01, did you go to WWSEF this year?

The Waterloo Wellington Science Engineering Fair. We went to Waterloo for the actual fair. And then we toured the science complex at U of G, similiar to your post about some trip. So I thought you went.

You mean to tell me that there is such a thing as an insignificant majority?
