I totally agree about the mark adjustment thing; our IB coordinator at our school is a big fish in the world of IB, and she always complains about how other IB schools mis-adjust grades and trash the curriculum. For us in IB, I know there are certain classes where averages are actually fail grades (like 45%), so that's why there is like a 30% adjust to the average. But still, after adjustment class averages are NEVER 90 or even 85.
