So I got to the Residency Information part of the OSAP application and I am really confused which one I fit under:
under the Determining Your Eligibility for OSAP TAB
I checked that I am a Canadian Citizen then
under current status I checked None of the above statements applies to me. Your parent(s) must fill out part of this application. <-very confusing, does this mean my parents fill out the next part for their situation or me?
Residency Information
Check 1 of the following 9 statements that best describes your current residency situation: 1 I have always resided in Ontario 2Ontario is the last province in which I resided in for 12 consecutive months without being a full-time postsecondary student. 3 I reside in Ontario AND I have lived in Canada for less than 12 consecutive months. 4 My spouse has always resided in Ontario 5 Ontario is the last province my spouse resided in for 12 consecutive months without being a full-time postsecondary student. 6 I reside in Ontario and my spouse and I have lived in Canada for less than 12 consecutive months. 7 Ontario is the last province my parent, step-parent, legal guardian, or official sponsor have resided in for at least 12 consecutive months. 8 I reside in Ontario AND my parent(s) and I have resided in Canada for less than 12 consecutive months. 9 I now reside in Ontario, but none of the above statements applies to me.
-Well, both my parents and I are immigrants but we've stayed in Canada for 8 consecutive years. I am not sure whether this residency info is for my parents or me. Also I am unsure of whether I fit under 2 or 9.
Also the Life Scienes program at UTSG would be considered as an arts & sci degree right? thanks

Have you lived in Ontario for 12 consecutive months or more? While not a postsecondary student (i.e. not in college/university)? If so, definitely #2. #9 is the one saying you aren't eligible for OSAP and need to figure out what province's loans you do apply for.
