When do universities tell you how much scholarship money have you won from the entrance scholarships (specifically Mcmaster)

I can't say about McMaster, I heard from Dalhousie which was one of the last to send out their offers.

It's usually mid May so that they can look at your mid term marks. Of course this only applies if your high school is on a semester system. The offers can also be changed in early July based on your final marks.

As far as I know, If you did not get one with your offer (for UofT), *which I didn't with a 92 average* you're not getting one even if your final average turns out to be like 97.

I was told my entrance scholarship amount about 3 weeks after i got my acceptance letter and sent them my transcript. right now because my average was over 95% in grade 11, I'm guaranteed $1700 if I keep my grade 12 average above 90%, and if I keep it above 95% it gets bumped up to $2000. That from the University of Manitoba.

Pretty sure that's not how it works. I got my acceptance to UT in like January, they cannot give you entrance awards based on three courses.

Mac doesn't offer you an entrance scholarship until they receive your final top 6 marks. It only makes sense that way... the entrance scholarship is based on your top six average.

Some schools give out scholarships based on your second last set of marks, others wait until final marks to send out offers. In the first case, there's usually some threshold below which you'd lose the scholarship but that wouldn't usually be a drop of a percent or two. Often, if you qualify for a larger automatic scholarship based on final marks they will increase the amount.

I don't know about U of T, but at Queen's if you move up from a 94 to a 95 they re-evaluate and will offer you another $2500 for the first year and $5000 for the second.

I did the exact same thing and got the bad news :< I've posted in this forum before explaining that for UTSG, scholarships are mostly based on grade 11 marks. It does not matter if your grade 12 marks improve up to 95+, If you did not receive one at the time of your offer, you're not getting one. UTSG used this system of handing out scholarships: Send out ALL scholarships during early-acceptance.Wait for people to claim them. If they are not claimed (people rejected the offer), then those scholarships are NOT redistributed and they saved some money. If you're looking for scholarships, go to like Ryerson or something. It depends on the school really, perhaps even the program. I had 3 or 4 grade 12 classes last year and 5 first semester, so that wasn't a problem in my case.
I was offered acceptance to Dal in January, received my entrance scholarship offer in April, 4 months after I received my admissions letter. I did on the spot admissions with UNB and STU, so I received my entrance scholarship offer right there. I was offered acceptance to Carleton in February and received my scholarship offer at the same time as my admissions letter. I was offered acceptance to Ryerson in late March, and still haven't received any money from them, despite having a 96% top 6 average. Journalism is a "grades-plus" program so their scholarships are non-renewable and competitive, and I'm assuming I'm not competitive enough because my offer expired and I didn't hear anything back about any money.
