So I finally watched the Gilmore Girls series finale and now I want to write for a school paper too. And GET HER BANGS!!!!!!
Yeah, I'm still unchanged rez-wise. I actualyl haven't thought about it too much, which I'm hoping is a sign of my "feeling right" about going with BMH.

So yeah, I'm having a bit of trouble. I'm pretty sure that I've decided on my courses (I may change one of the PoliSci courses for something else, but at this point, I'm set)

That Smart Minerva application tells me that there's a scheduling conflict. I don't get it though - I have 10 minutes between classes, so what's up with that?

Ugggghhhhhhhhh. Looks like I can't take that because I don't have the Humanities requirement.
Ugh. I'll have to cary one of the history and polisci courses over to the 2nd semester. Bah.

It will just be anal trying to register away from home trying to get my parents visa #, getting access to the internet at UVic's rez, etc. Meh. It'll work. You are intense. Kinda off topic.
But do you guys have experience with Macbook's? I need a new laptop for school and can't decide between a Dell or Macbook. I hope there won't be compatibility issues with an Apple ?

i'm gonna get a macbook  lol wow, at the mcgill openhouse, i swear 9 out of 10, the laptop i saw was a mac. At the residences, at the common rooms, presentations, etc. Like my friends noticed too and we confronted a mac user about it. Seriously. I thought it was a requirement or something, haha. So considering there were so many, I don't think there would be compatability issues. Nowadays there's always a way around it.

Nowadays there's always a way around it. yeah ALOT of people here have macbooks, they all really like them and say they're more efficient than windows based computers. Alot of people have dells aswell, i personally dont like dells for some reason, I prefer my toshiba. Whenever I use some elses macbook i get really frsustrated because things just sort of pop up when click certain places, kindof annoying but i guess you get used to it and even grow to love it.

I guess it's easier to transition over to it now with bootcamp and stuff. I've always wanted a mac so I think uni's a good time to get one =]

I thought about getting a Mac, but purely in the trendwhore "think of how awesome I'll look" way, which lasted for all of 3 seconds. I don't see the point in shelling out 2 grand when I can get a decent one for a thou or around there. Especially since I don't need a fancy system, or anything more than Word (for my studies anyway). I'm thinking of going with Toshiba or HP. I haven't really looked into it. Especially since I will also have to buy a camera (I live in a cave - my parents basically are the "buy and return" types and they're always telling me not to buy a cam until I actually need one since there are so many new ones coming out, and there's no point in storing junk) and cell. So that's going to end up 2 grand all together.
About courses - I AM intense jk. It's basically either worrying about McGill and next year and fitting in courses (which I actually LOVE doing - so much choice, honestly, so awesome) or worrying about classes/studying for tests, etc, which I no longer care for.
For you I guess it's easier because you have some requirements in the Arts and Sci, right? For me, the only problem is making sure I have courses from 3 out of 4 categories, which is a pain.
