With my schedule for next year I should be able to sleep in a little bit most days:
Start times:
Monday: 12:30 pm
Tuesday: 10:00 am
Wednesday: 12:30 pm
Thursday: 8:30 am
Friday: NO CLASSES! Yippee!

So, yeah, Thursday right now is my only concern with my "alarm clock problem"

To be fair, getting up for that one 8:30 is going to be rough if she really sleeps in the other days ;)

Yeah, it probably will. I might end up waking up early all through the week anyways

Ah yes, it's going to be so hard for me! I just don't know what I'll do if I can't sleep in til 1. I need my beauty rest!
Although, seriously, I'm not liking my last class on Tuesday. It goes from 7-10pm. I can barely keep from nodding off at the end
of a normal school day (last period of the day- 2:05-3:30)

Envy here, though. Every day, my classes start at 8:35. I can pick the sequences (e.g., phys, chem, math versus engi, chem, phys), but all variations have the day start at exactly 8:35.
Who wants to share my joy? Or at least buy me a really good alarm clock big grin

They made me sign an agreement stating I would always be condescending to arts students when I registered for engineering. teeth

I assume I will be sharing your "love" of early morning classes. Calculus, Chem, Physics, chem, lab, calculus, physics, physics. haha

Oh yes, I believe I saw that clause in the fine print of the acceptance letter. Actually, if I recall correctly, the engineering lounge at my (future) university has walls decorated with posters demeaning to everybody and anybody who is not studying engineering, particularly BA's.

They train us young, eh? big grin

What discipline are you going into?

What if you're the one with the early morning class and the other person gets to lie in late ... how'd you cope with that?

They certainly do train us young. I already bash on those commie/arts students at my high school.

I'm not sure what discipline i'll end up in. Queen's has a general first year so I haven't even really thought about it.
You?

We have a general first year too, but I've already reduced the decision process to either electrical or mechanical. I'm sort of sliding between Newton and Tesla big grin

Is it too late to unleash Lord Kelvin and seduce you into chemical instead?

Not at all. Chemical was also an option, but I can't remember why I removed it from the list.
Actually, I wanted to study chemistry for a long time before deciding for engineering. It just seemed like with engineering you get a profession, while with pure science you get... a lot of knowledge and a reserved parking spot in front of your old high school with 30 chem assignments to mark :/
