Anyone have any contacts at a music publishing company or major music label? I’m a hip hop producer try’in to get in the game. Been makin beats for 7 years. I’m looking for a production deal or a publishing deal.

My boy got some tracks placed on the last Jim Jones album through Musicplacements. He produced the Weatherman track. They got a connect with G-unit too. They rejected my tracks cause I’m not 18 tho. Anyone else used these guys? Got any other connects?

I would just get your stuff out there through the internet, mixtapes, YouTube, whatever. Try to create a buzz for yourself and a reputation of excellence.

yea, and send demos to all the record companies, nto just the majors, but also the local ones, and the record company affiliates.
You can also try sending demos to record execs, music producers, etc.
Also, try performing live if u can at a small local venue, get a fan base. well, that's how it goes for bands, ionno about rap...

The website looks legit and about the 18 thing,
keep a large stack of beats and build up your profile.
When you turn 18, let them all loose and pray one gets enough attention.

On a side note,
Maino was just named artist of the month on that site.
He spits some mad fire and the beats on his stuff are sick.
