i think there is going to be a HUGE SA community at queens this year. Im starting to wonder if queen's prestige ( mainly QC) has been boosted solely by this forum.

Wouldn't a smaller school allow me to do things like undergraduate research? Also, it may just be that I'm on the outside looking in, but Dal's students don't seem to be as involved with extracurriculars as Mt. A. Again I am probably wrong but that has been my impression so far. There's good and bad about both. That's the major Dal concerns I have. http://www.dal.ca/images/logo_print.gif

Quoting Wikipedia, Dalhousie is a member of the Group of Thirteen, more commonly referred to as the G13, a group of the leading research universities in Canada (hope that answers your first question). Read this about Dalhousie extra curriculars http://www.dal.ca/campuslife/I hope you choose the best place! My brother loved Mount A, but as far as research I don't think it can offer what Dalhousie has.

Accepted to Waterloo Computer Science + Business Administration Double Degree (BCS + BBA) I went to the open house yesterday and apparently they only accept around 30 people for that program. Makes me feel good Still waiting for computer engineering though.

Yes I know Dal has more resources, but they also have Graduate and PHD students doing the research. Mt A is a primarily undergraduate school so most of the research opportunities go to undergrads. http://www.dal.ca/images/logo_print.gif

I've applied to Journalism at Carleton and University of Ottawa, Communication Studies at York as well as Professional Studies, and Women's Studies at University of Toronto. Last month I was accepted to them all except for Women's Studies, which apparently doesn't send acceptances until late April I believe. I'm going to accept Journalism at Carleton of course. Yay!
