The Studentawards Forum is a virtual community created for students, teachers, professors and parents to discuss ideas and issues in a thoughtful and respectful manner. We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below.

Super Condensed Forum Rules:

1. Keep it respectful!
2. No flaming, spamming or trolling.
3. No discrimination or offensive content.
4. No porn/graphic content.
5. No advertising.
6. No posting of personal information.
7. No posting of personal messages from other members.
8. No signatures over 6KB and 200 characters.
9. No images over 400X300 pixels.
10. No excessive quoting.

Note: all rules are subject to the interpretation of moderators and administrators. We reserve the right to implement them as we see fit.

Studentawards Forum Netiquette

Considering the real-time nature of this bulletin board, the Moderators and Administrators cannot immediately review all information posted or guarantee the validity of said information. Although the Administrators and Moderators of the Studentawards Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this Forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages immediately after they are posted. Keep in mind that all messages express the views of the author. Studentawards is not responsible for the content of any message.

Content Guidelines

Although we do actively monitor the contents of posted messages, we are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any messages, or the form or content of any messages posted. Each message expresses the views of its author, not necessarily the views of Studentawards or any related entity. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately at info.forum@studentawards.com. If we determine that removal or modification is necessary, we will make every effort to do so within a reasonable time frame. However, this is a manual process, so please realize that removal or modification may not take place immediately.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually explicit, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. Although this forum is not responsible for the content of any messages posted therein, we at this forum reserve the right to delete any message for any reason at our discretion. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this forum and its agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

We at this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity, including whatever information we know about you, in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

“Flaming” is the act of insulting or putting down other members of the forums. A certain amount of vigorous discussion is allowed and even encouraged, but at such time as the discussion becomes vicious and personal, the Moderator and/or Administrator will intervene. Personal insults are not allowed on the forums; this includes reference to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and/or religious slurs, swearing, and threats. If you feel that you have been insulted, slandered, or otherwise flamed, please contact a Moderator or Administrator by private message or email info.forum@studentawards.com.


Advertising by members of the Forum is strictly forbidden, whether it is for one’s personal site or that of another company. You may have a link to sites that are relevant to the discussion, but creating a thread or a post for the sole purpose of advertising another website is not allowed. We reserve the right to remove any link from the Studentawards Forum.

Personal Information

We at Studentawards do our best to make our forums fun and safe for all of our members. However, we cannot possibly monitor the private conduct of every member, and therefore we urge you to be cautious in giving out any personal information about yourself to anyone you meet online. Do not post your full name, your home address, email or your telephone number on the forums, and for your own safety, do not give out any information about yourself to anyone you meet on the forums that you would not feel comfortable giving to a stranger on the street.

Quote Feature

The Quote feature is in place to aid in the continuity of discussion, however, please use it sparingly.


A signature is a short quote, small image, or other identifying feature that is displayed at the end of each of a member’s posts. The Studentawards forums allow small signatures to be used by our members, but we ask our members to please limit the size of any images in signatures to 6KB. We reserve the right to edit signatures.
