I am currently in grade 11, and am going to apply to U of T next year.

But i want to get into one of the more "prestigious" programs, namely Vic or Trinity.

They're looking for a 90%+ average for acceptance in these programs. To me, it is evident that I am coming out of gr. 11 with approximately an 85% average, but i will be able to have a 90%+ average in grade 12.

Does the fact that my grade 11 average isn't stellar mean that i won't get into stellar programs? I'm stressing out quite a bit..and feel that i've screwed up.

Please respond, it would mean a lot!

That average is going to mean that you won't recieve a scholarship and probably will have a hard time receiving early acceptance.
I had an 87 average in grade 11 and 92+ in grade 12 so far and although I've received early acceptance from all programs, no substantial scholarships while a friend of mine who had 94 average in grade 11 and 91 so far in grade 12 received 4500...
Yeah, grade 11 counts for alot of goddarn money.

Grade 11 marks don't mean anything except for early admissions.

every year starting in grade 6, your teachers tell you that this is your most important year. Every year it's a lie, except grade 12. And maybe grade 11 depending on whether or not you want early admission for stellar schools/programs, and whether or not you took any grade 12 level courses in grade 11 (like for IB).
