I've heard that entrance into Fleming College is quite competitive and many people who end up going there really enjoy it. Fleming is in Peterborough.

It is a nice and small school that is really friendly! At least it seemed that way at my visit. I'm going there this Fall for my first year in the Law Clerk program. Why where you looking for an opinion? Where you deciding on a school? What school did you pick?

I too have not heard of this school. But then again, it could be due to my own ignorance, not a lack of quality from Fleming.

Not so much. I have a friend that had a 52 in grade 11 C bio, and a 50 in grade 12 C chem, and she got into their nursing program. Maybe it's the type of school that does really well in one area, and not well in another, but their nursing program isn't good.

It depends on the program. Practical nursing is not as popular anywhere although it should be as that is where the jobs are.

My friend got into another Ontario college in practical nursing with a 50 in 12C math, a 55 in grade 11C bio and a 50 in 12C chem. lol She did do well in 12C English though.

It's actually really competative at Algonquin, but that's because they have a brand new 34 million dollar medical simulation lab. I start on September 2nd =D. (I had a 92 in 12 C Chem, an 88 in 11 C bio, a 90 in 12 U English, and a 90 in 12 C Math (I missed two and a half months of that class because I had mono))

I also have never heard of it.

I go to Trent and I hadn't heard of Fleming until I started going to school in Peterborough. I've met a few students from there and they seem to like it just fine. The campus is in a really good part of town.

Since no one has said this yet I feel obliged.

The fact opinion isn't spelt correctly doesn't say much for educational quality.
