Recently I was accepted to both Alberta and Concordia for BA political science this coming fall. I was born in Edmonton, have family in the area and have good friends that goto UofA. By all means UofA is the safe choice.
I applied to Concordia since i heard they had an excellent poli sci program and its in the heart of Montreal. Am i right to assume the food, music scene, women are arguably the best in Canada? Having never been to Montreal, i plan on going in the coming weeks to visit the campus.
I'm aware that Concordia is a commuter school but i would be commuting to UofA from my grandmas place 15 minutes away.
It would be great to hear what you guys have to say about either school or city.

I should have been more specific, my grandmother rarely stays at the house since she had a stroke, its mostly vacant. Good luck with choosing between Concordia or UOttawa. I was gonna apply to a school in Ottawa as well(Carleton) but it seemed kind of dry to me compared to Montreal after i did some research. Its an interesting place and i hope to travel there some day though. thanks for your advice.

YOu'll have a good time at either. My friends at U of A say its an amazing school and a crazy time. Montreal is Montreal. You would obviously have an amazing time there to. I hope your grandma is alright.
