It's going to take a while to get used to, but so far, I like the look of the new forum.

I think it's much nicer. That being said, I only became a member of the old forum lastnight (the night before they changed to the new forum >.<)

Oooh, new avatar choices :-)
The software they're using says it supports RSS feeds; and, I've found a rather useless feed which only displays the list of forums that there are (those don't change much, if ever, so, finding out about updates to them while nice isn't the most beneficial thing in the world). Has someone found the feed address for anything more useful? (ideally all posts, or, all posts in a particular forum). I suspect this is a feature we're supposed to have but one for which the current template is hiding the link.

No one else has noticed this, I guess, and it is probably one of the reasons why they upgraded -- the forum runs much faster now.

Amongst other things, there's a brand new HCI lab next year (work for that started last year and it should be finished over the summer). It's also a supervisor I've worked with before (for a summer NSERC position last year) and I really do like it in the School of Computing. P.S. It's funny we both chose the penguin avatar :-)

I really like the new layout. However, I don't love how I had to make a new account. =( My password/usename wouldn't work so I made a new account with my same name.

This is like...the LEAST active forum I've ever seen. hahaha I guess it's a GOOD sign since we don't want too many students knowing about it. ;) Increases each of our chances for getting this $100 scholarship!!
